Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home with Dr. Cecil Sewell officiating and burial following at Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Al Oliver, Bedford Dunavant, Portis Tanner, Adam Reeves, Matt Russell and Carl Wayne Hammond.
She was born Aug. 8, 1942, in Morley, Mo., daughter of Juanita (Cherry) McArthur of Sikeston, Mo., and the late Shirl McArthur. She married Joseph Wesley Hammond in 1970. He survives.
She was an agent for Union City Insurance for more than 25 years and was a Baptist.
She is also survived by her daughter, Trudi Collins of Union City; her son, Greg Hammond of Union City; three grandchildren, Jackson Donnell, Brianna Hammond and Emily Hammond, all of Union City; and her brother and sister-in-law, Wade and Debbie McArthur of Collinsville, Ill.
