Pete Mullins

Funeral services for Mr. Mullins will be conducted Tuesday at 11  a.m. at First Baptist Church of Kenton. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton.
The family will receive friends from 5–8 p.m. today at the church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mullins was born July 16, 1933, in Gibson County, son of the late Brodie and Pearline (Baker) Mullins. He was retired from Texas Gas after 38 years of service and worked with Bradford Best Way and Rutherford Grocery.  
Mr. Mullins was a member of First Baptist Church in Kenton. He was a friend to all, with a smile and kind word.
Mr. Mullins is survived by his daughter, Lynette Tate and her husband, Tracy; his son, Kent Mullins and his wife, Beth; five grandchildren, Cheryl Freeman and her husband, Chad, Samantha Litton and her husband, Jonathan, Tyler Tate and his wife, Lauren, Trey Tate and Sarah Beth Mullins, four great-grandchildren, Chase Freeman, Addyson Litton, Bryce Litton and Ty Tate; his sister, Wanda “Sis” Tate and her husband, W.C. Tate; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Bobbie Ruth Mullins, and his parents.
