Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Manna Ministries Church near Union City, with Sister Ruth Green officiating, assisted by Brother Archie Larry. Burial will follow in Minnick Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church today from 6-8:30 p.m. Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Michael Ladd, Thomas Mulcahy, Jimmy Robinson, Kyle Chessor, Blake Biggs and Daryl Holder.
The family requests that donations be made to Manna Ministries Church, 4001 Ken-Tenn Hwy., Union City, TN 38261 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
He was the son of Larry and Rachel (Stover) Via of Union City and was the assistant manager of BP in Troy. He attended the former Mid-Continent Bible College in Mayfield, Ky., and received his associate’s degree from Bethel University in McKenzie.
He was ordained as a minister Aug. 23, 2015, and was the administrator of Manna Ministries Church.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his son, Dylan Via of Union City; two brothers and their wives, Randy and Marsha Via of Union City and Keith and Shanna Via of Hornbeak; his maternal grandmother, Lois Stover of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
