Brenda Cruce

Services were set for 10 a.m. today at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Dr. Vann Kissell officiating. Burial was to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Rives.
Pallbearers were to be Jason Wherry, Ed Eller Jr., Lesley Tidwell, John Meadow, Buddy Calkins and Tyler Delbo. Honorary pallbearers were to be Courtney Wherry, Ashley Creel and Rachel Meadow.
She was born June 2, 1953, in Obion County, daughter of Helen (Turner) Cruce of Troy and the late Alvin Cruce. She was a retired nurse and was of the Baptist faith.
She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and John Meadow of Arab, Ala.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Judy Cruce of Murfreesboro and Steve and Peggy Cruce of Rives; five nieces, Tracy McDaniel and Jamie Tidwell, both of Union City, Ashley Creel and Rachel Meadow, both of Arab, and Allison Cruce of Henderson; and her nephew, Lesley Tidwell of Troy.
