Peggy Thomason

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eric Burress will officiate. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery near Ridgely.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hoffman, Scott Thomason, Cody Thomason, Brian Thomason, Kyle Thomason and Michael Thomason.
Peggy was born May 30, 1947, in Lake County, daughter of the late Buryl and Opal (Sadler) Larry. She married Larry “Leggs” Thomason Oct. 21, 1967. He died March 3, 2009. Peggy was a retired beautician and attended Walnut Log Baptist Church.
She is survived by her companion, Robert Hoffman of Samburg; her son, Larry Scott (Tracye) Thomason of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren, including three grandsons she raised, Cody Shawn (Brandy Summers) Thomason of Gleason, Brian Lee Thomason of Elbridge, Brentley Kyle (Tonia) Thomason of Paris, Michael Earl Scott (Anita) Thomason of Marion, Ill., and Melissa Lynn Marie Thomason of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Rylee Elizabeth Thomason and Peyton Alexis Thomason, both of Paris, Katey Laine Thomason of Troy and Brayden Thomason of Marion; and three sisters, Allean Thurman and Ruth Shirley, both of Union City, and Delores Paschall of Ridgely.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Searcy.
