Marlane Taylor

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church in Union City. Dr. Melvin Poe will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Friday.
Pallbearers will be Rick Wright, G.W. Moon, J.T. Jones, Wes McClure, Bob Kean and Richard Ams.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Calvary Baptist Church building fund, 2250 East Reelfoot Ave., Union City, TN 38261; or Hometown Walk of Hope, P.O. Box 482, Union City, TN 38281.
Mrs. Taylor was born July 27, 1940, in Taloga, Okla., daughter of the late Buddy and Erma (McDonald) Cleveland. She married Billy Joe “Bill” Taylor May 14, 1961. He died May 10, 2009. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, the Women’s Missionary Union and Campers for Christ.
She is survived by two daughters and her son-in-law, Paula Taylor of Memphis and Tammy and Mark Daniels of Union City; her brother, Rick Cleveland of Thomas, Okla.; and four grandchildren, Allison Faught of Murfreesboro, Caitlyn Ramsden of Virginia Beach, Va., Chandler Faught of Munford and Elizabeth Grace Daniels of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Roy Cleveland.
