Billy Wright

A graveside service was set for 11 a.m. today at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Water Valley, Ky. Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Mount Zion Cemetery Fund, in care of Wayne Lawrence, 265 Wilson Road, Water Valley, KY 42085.
He was a member of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church in South Fulton and had been a certified electrician for the Illinois Central Railroad and also for the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. He was a member of the I.B.E.W., was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II, and had lived in this area most of his life.
Mr. Wright is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Connie Wright of Dyersburg; his daughter-in-law, Sandra Wright of South Fulton; six grandchildren, Stacy Wicker of Jackson, Kelli Clem of Fort Hood, Texas, Emily Rudesill of Marion, Ill., Jeremiah Wright of Jackson, Rita Hunsucker of Morgantown, W.Va., and Troy Wright of Dyersburg; four great-grandchildren, Gavin Rudesill and Mason Rudesill, both of Marion, and Anna-Claire Wright and Bentley Lane Wright, both of Dyersburg; and two sisters, Martha Lucille Simpson of Fulton and June Klein of Cartersville, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Bushart Wright; his parents, Grover Cleveland and Cammie Helen (Darnell) Wright; his son, Bobby Wright; four brothers, John Alexander Wright, Connie Lee Wright, Jimmy Wayne Wright and Grover Cleveland Wright; and five sisters, Doris Holly, Betty Perkins, Gladys Evans, Mary Nell Grubbs and Carol Wright.
