Norman Demoulin

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. David Hagan officiating. Burial will follow in Old Republican Cemetery near Union City.
Pallbearers will be David Demoulin, Peter Demoulin, Matthew Demoulin, Jeremy Nichols, Jimmy Gray and Monroe Pettit.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
He was born May 9, 1939, in Jacksonville, Ill., son of the late Harry and Hazel (Renfrow) Demoulin. He married the former Herta Schwarz Sept. 26, 1964. He was a proud member of the Local 150 Operating Engineer Union and had been employed at Plote Construction in Elgin, Ill., as an operating engineer. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Herta Demoulin of Union City; three sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Kim Demoulin of Rockford, Ill., Peter Demoulin of Union City and Matthew and Kristen Demoulin of Kingston, Ill.; and three granddaughters, Emily Demoulin and Lillie Demoulin, both of Rockford, and Kaylee Demoulin of Kingston.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Demoulin and Glenn Demoulin; and his sister, Mary Ailenne Knight.
