Dr. Cissy Gooch

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Troy Church of Christ, with Ron Newberry officiating, assisted by Jimmy Smith.
Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the church.
White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Oct. 16, 1952, in Obion County, daughter of Betty (White) Hill of Troy and the late Dr. C.H. Hill. She married Dr. Chris Gooch. He survives. She was a pathologist at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City and Tennova Healthcare-Volunteer Martin Hospital. She was a member of the American Society of Clinical and Anatomic Pathology.
She is also survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca Gooch, who will soon move to Birmingham, Ala., and Katherine and Ethen Flatt of Nashville; her son, Daniel Gooch of Germantown; her brother, Dr. Paul Hill of Troy; and her sister, Laura Brown of Providence, Ky.
