Marjorie Owsley

Mrs. Marjorie Ann Owsley, 93, of the Polk Station community passed away 7:27 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at her home.
Graveside services were conducted 11 a.m. today at Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy. Lonnie Grady officiated.
Pallbearers were Eric McGee, Brian Owsley, Andrew Owsley, Blake Owsley, Daniel Smith and Peyton Woodall.
Visitation was held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Owsley was born March 16, 1922, in Dyer County, daughter of the late Jasper Leroy and Hattie Cordell (Arendall) Rumley. She married Jessie B. Owsley on May 10, 1941. He died Jan. 22, 2009.
Mrs. Owsley was a homemaker and a member of Rives Church of Christ.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Jerry Grady of Troy; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry and Sandra Owsley and Barry Owsley, all of the Polk Station community; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Gaye Owsley; and four brothers, Clifford Rumley, Robert Rumley, Leon Rumley and Paul Rumley.
