Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Union City. Dr. Melvin Poe will officiate.
Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tucker was born Aug. 21, 1947, in Guthrie, Ky., son of the late Leonard H. and Mary Olene (Warren) Tucker. He married the former Stephanie Finan March 19, 2002. She survives. Mr. Tucker served as maintenance technician at Calvary Baptist Church, where he was also a member. He enjoyed fishing and carving and spending time with his family.
He is also survived by two sons and his daughter-in-law, the Rev. Shane and Alison Tucker of Fordsville, Ky., and Charles David “C.D.” Tucker II of Troy; four stepdaughters and the spouses of two, Naomi and Jimmy La Font and Rebecca Shute, all of Claremont, N.H., Charity and Ezra Johnson of Union City and Chastity Brown of Minneapolis; his stepson, Bobby Brown of Union City; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Gary Killebrew of Union City and Barbara and Joseph Elliott of Fulton; his brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Jo Ann Tucker of Union City; and 14 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Martha Joe Sanford; and three brothers, L.H. Tucker Jr., Billy Ray Tucker and Jimmy Dale Tucker.
