Bobby Joe Busby

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Todd Jackson and the Rev. Brent Long officiating. Entombment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Stairs, Tim Windsor, Greg Windsor, Todd Jackson, Gene Pope, David Roberson and Aaron Staulcup.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Gideons.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday.
He was born Aug. 27, 1943, in Hickman, Ky., son of the late Earl and Helen (Burns) Busby. He married the former Peggy Kelley March 21, 1983. She survives. He had been an electrician at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and was a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church. He was also a Gideon and a Mason.
Survivors also include his son, Bobby Gene Busby of Martin; his daughter, Tracy Renee Jackson of Kentucky; his stepdaughter, Melinda Smith of Virginia; his adopted stepson, Darrell Busby Smith of Louisville, Ky.; two other stepsons, Timothy Ray Windsor of Tiptonville and Gregory Charles Windsor of Millington; another stepdaughter, Vicky (Windsor) Long of Ridgely; his sister, Martha Vermillion of Clinton, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
