Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dr. Cecil Sewell and Norman Williams officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Gene Williams, Ray Burden, Lanny Callicott, Harry Weatherly, Danny Ams and Gary Francis. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Hope Sunday School Class of Union City First Baptist Church.

He was born March 18, 1932, in Hamlet, N.C., son of the late Howard D. and Susie (Vining) Martin. He married the former June Lorraine Williams May 12, 1956. She died May 28, 2009.
After graduating from Cornell University and serving in the U.S. Navy, he spent 44 years in the life and health insurance business, earning the Chartered Life Underwriter designation and many sales awards, including being a four-time member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
He was a member of Union City First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and a Sunday school teacher, and had been drive chairman of United Way. He was also a member of the board of directors of Obion County Chamber of Commerce. He had been president of Union City Kiwanis Club and twice received the Kiwanian of the Year Award. He was lieutenant governor of Kiwanis Division 1A and was chairman of the local Kiwanis girls softball program for 17 years.
He is survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Karen Martin of Algonquin, Ill., Janice and Greg Orr of Troy, Valerie Martin and Kevin Henry of Selinsgrove, Pa., and Jennifer and Stan Gammon of South Fulton; six granddaughters; two grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
