Ralph Kizer

Ralph Thomas Kizer, 83, of Union City died July 28, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl Kizer officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wade Norsworthy, Steven Smith, Thomas McCulloch, Brandon Whitley, Darrin Rose, Kenneth Williams, Daniel Armstrong and Robert Kizer.
The family requests memorials be made to People Place Assembly of God Church in South Fulton or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
He was born July 5, 1932, in McNairy County, to the late Marlie Thomas and Nora Lee (Dillon) Kizer. He married Betty Lou (James) Kizer Jan. 3, 1953. She died Aug. 1, 1998. He was a maintenance employee of the Obion County School System for 27 years, retiring in 1997. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of People Place Assembly of God Church in South Fulton.
He is survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Wanda and Thomas Boucher of St. Petersburg, Fla., Glenda and Johnny Malone of Brighton and Sandra Brimson of High Point, N.C., and Donna and Greg Ervin of Cloverdale; three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Dale and Donna Kizer of Summerville, S.C., the Rev. Carl and Patsy Kizer of South Fulton and Dennis and Tammy Kizer of Brownsville; 16 grandchildren, Heather Rose of Covington, Hope Williams of Cloverdale, Carla Swift of Union City, Samantha Norsworthy of Troy, Jaclyn Smith and Natalie McCulloch, both of Cloverdale, Lauren Hallum of Bartlett, Lyndsay Kizer of Houston, Brandon Whitley of Brighton, Brandon Malone and Brittany Malone, both of Bartlett, Stacey Kizer and Robert Kizer, both of Summerville, and Ashley Brimson, William Brimson and Jacob Brimson, all of High Point; and 23 great-grandchildren, Maddox Kizer of Summerville, Dalton Rose, Matthew Rose, Joshua Rose and Tyler Rose, all of Covington, Alexia Barnett and Cameron Kizer Zeller, both of Cloverdale, Kelli Swift, Jami Swift and Ben Swift, all of Union City, Tyler Williams of Arkansas, Kademce Griggs, Brinley LeBlanc and Bristol LeBlanc, all of Bartlett, Leah Johnson of High Point, Bella Hallum of Brighton, Kelsee Etghayi of Brownsville, Brighton Hallum of Bartlett, Nash Norsworthy and Knox Norsworthy, both of Troy, and MaryAnn Smith, Joel Smith and Robert McCulloch, all of Cloverdale.
He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Billy Brimson; his brother, Wendall Kizer; five sisters, Exie Kizer, Maedell Dean, Johnnie James, Rachael Lewis and Pearl Kizer.
