Patricia Steele

Mrs. Patricia Steele, 85, of South Fulton died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Glendale Assisted Living in Murray, Ky.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fulton, Ky., and was a retired school teacher for 36 years, having worked for the Fulton City School System.
She was also a charter member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, a member of the Fulton County Retired Teacher’s Association and a member of the First Baptist Church Second Milers. She had lived all of her life in Fulton, Ky., and South Fulton, Tenn.
She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Bryson of Brandon, Miss., Dianne Owen of South Fulton and Donna S. Pearson of Murray, Ky.; a son, Danny Steele of Murray, Ky.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Judy Sublette of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Laverne Sublette of Fulton, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Steele, in 1995; her parents, Lillian (Nall) and Edward Warren Sublette; and a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Fulton, Ky. Burial was to follow in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton. Mrs. Steele was to lie in state at the church after 1 p.m. today until the service hour.
