Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with Dr. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Cory Heskett, Shane Cole, Christopher Cole, Michael Anderson, Robert Anderson, Vance Melson and Devin Melson.
She was born April 3, 1941, in Obion, daughter of the late Carnell and Bennie (Pigg) Cole. She was owner of the former Anderson’s Barbecue in Troy and was a member of Troy Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Rachel Anderson of Ashland, Miss.; her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Daniel Melson of Olivehill; her stepmother, Cordelia Cole of Obion; two brothers, Randy Cole of Obion and Donnie Cole of Winchester; two sisters, Joann Heskett and Jennie Harbin, both of Obion; two stepbrothers, Richard Hood and Kenny Hood, both of Obion; three stepsisters, Pat Bobo of Union City and Rhonda Hood and Tony Boone, both of Obion; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Anderson, who died June 5, 2014.
