Margaret Nelson

Margaret Ann (Lovett) Nelson, 82, of Troy, formerly of Union City, died Sept. 7, 2013, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Randy Harris of Troy.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Road Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Wallace, Paul Stinnett, Jim Pollard, Randy Craddock, Sparky Fields and Danny Ams.
The family requests memorials be made to Lake Road Baptist Church or Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
She was born Aug. 13, 1931, in Obion County, daughter of the late Roy Lee and Florence (Spicer) Lovett. She married Albert Lee Nelson May 14, 1949. He died July 14, 2009. She worked at the former Gibson’s Department Store. She was a member of Lake Road Baptist Church.
She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debi and Jim Adcock of Union City; her son, Ricky Nelson and his fiancée, Sarah Miller, both of South Fulton; four grandchildren, Billy Wallace, Kisah Stinnett and Hannah Brewer, all of Union City,  and Kim Goodman of Dyer; six great-grandchildren, Amber Schaeffer and Ben Haynes, both of Dyer, and Conner Parker, Bethany Couldstone, Alyxis Brewer and Jensen Stinnett, all of Union City; her sister, Linda Davis of Hornbeak; and five brothers, Leroy Lovett of Brownsville, Ky., Charles Lovett and Jerry Lovett, both of Michigan, Wayne Lovett of Florida and Larry Lovett of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Lovett.
