Willie Barnes

Willie Mae (Ervine) Barnes, 99, of Woodland Mills died Aug. 10, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Graveside services were held today at 1 p.m. at Obion County Memorial Gardens, with Diana Hastings officiating.
White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was born April 13, 1914, in Fulton County, Ky., daughter of Mel and Effie Jones Ervine. She married Wayne Elliott Barnes. He died March 1, 1980. She had worked as a cook on a river boat and was a Baptist.
She is survived by her nephew, Harril Hastings of Wingo, Ky.
