Kelly Lipsey

Completed arrangements have been announced for Kelly Gene Lipsey, 74, of Union City, who died July 10, 2013, at Dyersburg Regional Hospital.
Graveside services were set for today at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Rives, with David Kendall officiating.
Pallbearers were to be Richard Ragsdale, J.T. Ragsdale, Bruce Ragsdale, Jason Duff, Ryan Duff and Rueben Vasques.
White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He was born Aug. 3, 1938, in Steele, Mo., son of the late John Clarence and Lula Mae (Stover) Lipsey. He married Judy Witherspoon on Oct. 31, 1983, and she survives.
He was a retired guard for the Tennessee Department of Correction, working the last 19 years at Northwest Correctional Facilty in Lake County. He was also a former police officer in Jonesboro, Ark., and was an offshore oil drilling derrick employee.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Lynne Lipsey of Paducah, Ky., Susan Burns of Jonesboro and Angie Clanton of Troy; two sons, Larry Lipsey of Hickman, Ky., and Joseph Clanton of Union City; seven grandchildren, Jason Duff and Ryan Duff, both of Paducah, Niki Gaskins of Mount Juliet, Leigha Ellingburg of Hickman, Mandy Pylant of Beulah, Ky., Rachel Clanton of Troy and Dereck Pace of Jonesboro; a sister, Johnnie Ramsey of Houston; and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Waymon Lipsey.
