Corinne Tilghman

Completed arrangements are being announced for Corinne (Morson) Tilghman, 92, of Kenton, formerly of Union City, who passed away from this life June 20, 2013, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services for Mrs. Tilghman will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Kenton. The Rev. Dennis Gleek will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery of Kenton.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tilghman was born Aug. 17, 1920, in Decatur, Ala., daughter of the late Phill and Corinne Lee Morson. She retired as owner of Phill Morson Industries.
She is survived by her daughter, Wilda N. Callan; her son, Benjamin Hull Tilghman Sr.; five grandchildren, Todd Tilghman, Carl Rayburn “Skip” Tilghman III, Benjamin Hull “BJ” Tilghman Jr., Christopher Callan and Jenny Callan Tappin; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Carl Rayburn “Pete” Tilghman; her parents; and her son, Carl Rayburn “PT” Tilghman II.
