Greenfield soldier earns promotion

WORTHY PROMOTION — Lt. Col. Trent Scates of Greenfield (left) received a promotion to the rank of colonel last week by 194th Engineer Brigade Commander Col. Ross Warner while stationed in the Middle East as part of the Tennessee Army National Guard.
