AND THE WINNER IS … — Sarah Frazier of Union City is April’s Photo of the Month winner. She submitted this image of Bennett Frazier helping his granddaddy, Gary Hamilton, till the garden while he has been out of school. The photo was taken at the home of Gary and Nancy Hamilton near Union City. Entries are accepted each month, must have been taken within the last year and may be submitted by email to ucdm@ucmessenger.com. The subject line of the email should be “Photo Contest.” Emailed images should be no smaller than five inches wide and 300 dpi for the best reproduction. The photographer’s name, address and daytime phone number should be included, as well as where the photograph was made, what kind of camera it was taken with and a brief explanation of the photograph. Images with people in them must have identifications and permission for submission from the person or people in the photograph. The deadline for each contest month will be the last day of the month.
