WORLD TRAVELERS — Union City Rotary Club European travelers (from left) Caleb Parker, Olivia Dysart, Hudson Angel, Hadleigh-Lynn Cary, Davie Townes, Lillie Virden, Haley Thomas, Quintarius Udley, Amelia Kingrey and Alex Heathcock visited Brussels, Belgium, Monday. Among the sites they visited was The Atomium, a landmark building in Brussels, originally constructed for the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair (Expo 58). It is located on the Heysel Plateau, where the exhibition took place. It is now a museum. The group’s chaperones are Union City Middle School guidance counselor Jodi Powell and her husband, Jeremy.
