You always told me I was an angel you told me I was a gift sent to you by God. Nanny, you was the angel that God directed me to. You touched my heart in so many ways. Always the sweetest person and always welcoming and no one was ever a stranger. Your smile was so genuine and your laughs and giggles and Snickers could always put a smile on my face no matter what I was going through. I miss driving “My Gurls” and makeing you and Sheila feel like royalty. I miss your smile and your face and your voice, hopefully one day we will see one another again. Beings I never got to meet Hollis, will you tell him I said he is a lucky man. Will you tell him I’m jealous because I didn’t get to have you in my life but a short while and not only did he get you all those years before he passed but he gets you back for the rest of eternity. Like I said he is a lucky man! I will miss you greatly but only until we meet again one day. I love you Nanny and although I know you are with your momma and Hollis and your daughter and that you have been waiting to be reunited for a while, that’s doesn’t make it any easier here on earth without you. You were truly a blessing to me and I’m so very glad I was able to meet you and love you. Just because we don’t share the same blood, you will forever still be ” My Nanny ” I will hold you and our memories forever in my heart because that’s where you made your impression forever in my heart! I love you Nanny!
