Margie Armbruster

Mrs. Margie Louise Armbruster, 97, a resident of Murray, Ky., died Dec. 1, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Brother Jimmy Calhoun will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tripp Young, Brent Young, Mark Ward, Jay Davis, Rusty Young and Matthew Armbruster.
Roy Wiley and Coleman Baker will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Armbruster was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Union City, daughter of the late Robert Roger Young Sr. and Alma (Wright) Young Mohr. She worked as a dietitian and head of food services for Murray State University.
On June 24, 1945, she married James Iven Armbruster. He preceded in death Aug. 21, 2013.
She was a member of First Methodist Church in Union City.
The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital
Mrs. Armbruster is survived by a son, James “Jimmy” Armbruster II and his wife, Patricia, of Sterling, Colo.; a granddaughter, Mya Armbruster Baca and husband, Kenneth Paul, of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; a grandson, Matthew Armbruster of Sterling; a great-granddaughter, Kaia Sloane Baca; and a great-grandson, Kaden Paul Baca, both of Highlands Ranch.
