Donna Sherron

Donna Kay (Works) Sherron, 62, of Obion passed away 3:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at her home.
Funeral services were to be conducted 3 p.m today at Greater Vision Church in Troy. Pastor Troy Craft was to have officiated. Burial was to have followed in Elbridge Cemetery.
Visitation was held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Monday and was to be held at Greater Vision Church from 2 p.m. until the hour of services today.
Pallbearers were to be Roger Finch, Brad Finch, David Younger, Keith Hepler, Buddy Fluty and Kenny Sherron.
Donna was born Sept. 14, 1959, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late James Houston and Flossie Lee (Wells) Works. She married James Larry Sherron April 28, 1980. He survives. Donna had been employed as a licensed practical nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City and for Dr. Philip Sherman and Dr. James Hall. She attended Greater Vision Church and enjoyed cooking.
She is also survived by three daughters, Autumn Sherron and Allison Cruce, both of Jackson, and Andrea Young and her husband, Justin, of Fulton; one son, James Austin Sherron of Obion; four sisters, Rita Younger and her husband, Jimmy, and Susie Craft and her husband, Troy, all of Union City, Sherry Butcher and her husband, Jimmy, of Dyersburg and Jana Fluty and her husband, Buddy, of Obion; seven grandchildren, Gage Morgan, Lucas Morgan, Eli Morgan, Grace Wray, Ryan Young, Cannon Young and Audie Sherron; her sister-in-law, Shirley Hepler of Obion; her brother-in-law, Kenny Sherron of Obion; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Judy Lee Works, Cathy Finch and Laura Perry; one brother, James Larry Works; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James H. and Evelyn Sherron.
