Cordella Cole

Mrs. Cordella Hood Cole, 93, of Obion passed from this earthly life on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Uni-on City.
She was born March 21, 1927, in Obion County, the daughter of the late Merz and Dollie (Alton) Kirk.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Obion and was a retired seamstress of 33 years at the former Salant & Salant Co. in Obion.
She is survived by two sons, Richard (Betty Ann) Hood and Kenneth (Kathy) Hood, both of Obion; three daughters, Pat (David) Bobo of Union City, Toni (Aaron) Boone of Obion and Rhonda Hood of Obion; four stepchildren, JoAnn Heskett, Donnie Cole, Randy Cole and Jeanie Harbin; nine grandchildren, Casey Hood, Connie Travis, Shauna Wis-ener, Roger Bobo, Jennifer Hood, Shawn Hood, Olivia Hood, Crystal Crain and Shayanne Green; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carnell Cole; former husband, Bill Hood; three sisters, Corene Touchstone, Betty Adams and Dorothy Lofton; three brothers, Clyde Kirk, Gay Kirk and Everett Kirk; a grandson, Greg Hood; and a stepchild, Carolyn Anderson.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday in Rosehill Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Williams will officiate.
A private family visitation will be held at Cryer Funeral Home from noon until 1:45 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Roger Bobo, Brad Wisener, Aaron Boone, Eugene Hudgins, Shane Cole and Brandon Summers. Honorary pallbearers will be Parker Little, Preston Little, Conner Bobo, Charlton Wisener and Zack Bobo.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Forget Me Not Foundation of Northwest Tennessee, 3744 Cleek Echo Drive, Union City, TN 38261.
