GETTING READY — Keeta Burden (left), a  nutrition coordinator with the Obion County Senior Citizens program, and Margaret Ashley, director of the Obion County Senior Citizens program, were busy this morning putting out items to be auctioned off tonight at a country dance fundraiser at the Eddie Cox Senior Citizens Center, located at 622 South Depot St. in Union City. Steve Goodrich will be the auctioneer starting at 5:30 p.m., with a line dance planned from 7-9:30 and Larry Morgan providing the music. Admission is $5 per person, and hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available for $1 each. The proceeds of the event, which is open to the public, will benefit the Obion County Senior Citizens and the Eddie Cox Senior Citizens Center.
