Kat Boddie

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Anointed Church of the Living God, with Bro. Jesse Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery in Obion.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
Rawls Funeral Home in Union City is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born July 2, 1980, in Union City. Kathy graduated from UTM with her business degree. She was a long-time member of Third Street Church of Christ of Obion.
She leaves behind her son, Xavier Deonte Lake of Union City; her stepdaughter, Mercedes Lake of Ripley; her mother, Dorothy Boddie of Union City; her father, James Boddie of Union City; two sisters, Linda (Boddie) Bryant of Chicago and Tammi Boddie of Union City; her brother, Corey Boddie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her grandmother, Parthena Fulton of Union City; four nephews and four nieces, Aaliyah Lambert, Robert Lambert, Omari Coleman, Yaryiah Coleman, Adryian Coleman, Shakia Boddie, Kedryn Boddie and Josie Boddie; her great-niece, Ja’Liyah Lambert; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Ann Boddie. Her son, Darion Latrell Boddie-Thompson died soon after his mother.
