Joyce Franks

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Terry Council will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Mark Morris, Stephen Morris, Mike Butler, Kyle Franks, Marsha Weatherly and Edna Faye Franks. Honorary pallbearers will be David Weatherly, Michelle Thornton, Teresa Hill, Johnny Franks, Theresa Franks and Christopher White.
Joyce was born Sept. 21, 1961, in Brownsville, daughter of the late Lawrence and Ednirl (Duff) Franks. She attended Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Troy and the Community Developmental Center in Martin.
She is survived by two sisters, Helen Page and Barbara Morris, both of Troy; and four brothers, W.H. Franks of Muskegon, Mich., James William Franks and Richard Lawrence Franks, both of Union City, and Roy Lee Franks of Newbern.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, J.L. Franks.
