Danny Pruitt

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Mac McCullough and Brother Billy Uzzle will officiate. Burial will follow in Old Republican Cemetery near Union City.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Toppie Sims, Jackie Krietman, Timmy Vancleave, Terry Chamberlain, Kevin Stowe and Jason Bizzle. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Prather and Ronnie White.
Mr. Pruitt was born Dec. 8, 1958, in Obion County, son of the late Joy Love and Mary Alice (Faulkner) Pruitt. Danny had been employed as a truck driver.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Ria and Eric Doughten of Union City; two sons and his daughter-in-law, Daniel and Delana Pruitt and Landon O’Neil Pruitt, all of Union City; three sisters, Wanda Jones of Ripley, Judy Walker of Halls and Francis Wagner of Memphis; two brothers, Tommy Pruitt of Union City and Larry Pruitt of Halls; and seven grandchildren, Jada Doughten, Payten Doughten, Brock Thomas, Aidan Pruitt, Lydia Pruitt, Mason Jacobson and Bentley Pruitt, all of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Tina Byrd and Shirley Harris; and three brothers, Joy Dale Pruitt, Roy Pruitt and Donald Pruitt.
