Henry Yates

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton. Visitation will be from noon until the hour of services. Interment will be at Pilot Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Pilot Oak, Ky. The family would appreciate donations to the Pilot Oak Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
He was born Oct. 8, 1938. He was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City and was a longtime member of Pleasant View General Baptist Church in Water Valley, Ky.
Edward was a great man who cared deeply for his family.
He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Sandra (Goodwin) Yates of South Fulton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Carol Yates of South Fulton and Jason and Kim Yates of Little Rock, Ark.; two stepsons and daughters-in-law, Chad and Tami French of Tulsa, Okla., and Jason and Deana French of South Fulton; three grandchildren and the spouse of one, Tabitha Yates, Justin Yates, and Paige (Dortch) and Jake Waterfield; and three step-grandchildren,  Alyssa French, Troy French and Kiera French.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Irene (Grause) Yates; and his daughter, Theresa Dortch.
