Martha Lou Smith

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dr. Cecil Sewell officiating. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery near Union City.
The family will receive friends from noon until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Barker, Chris Virgin, Chris Shelton, Bob Reavis, Steve Sedberry and Jerry Grady.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
She was born June 17, 1939, in Ann Arbor, daughter of the late Alvyn Ferguson and the late Cordie (Dickie) Buza. She had been employed at the former Salant & Salant in Union City and was a Baptist.
She is survived by two daughters and her sons-in-law, Regina and Steve Sedberry of Union City and Letha and Bob Reavis of Hornbeak; four grandchildren and their spouses, Reena and Chris Shelton, Stephanie and Chris Virgin and Selena and Tyler Barker, all of Union City, and Robert Reavis of Nashville; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jimmy Ferguson of Gleason, Stoney Ferguson of Chicago and Britt Ferguson of Jackson; her niece, Julie Ferguson Walker; and her nephew, Jody Ferguson.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Rita Moulton.
