Robert Pendergrass

Catholic Church in West Peoria. Msgr. Jason Gray will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until noon Thursday prior to the Mass. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude St. Louis to Peoria Run.
Robert was born on Jan. 16, 1934, in Harris Station to the late Mack Darie and Myrtle (Moore) Pendergrass.
He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Susan Pendergrass of St. Louis, David Pendergrass of East Peoria, Ill., and Matthew and Jacqueline Pendergrass of Dunlap, Ill.; four grandchildren, Sarah, Macy, Natalie and Katherine; and his loving companion, Patricia Slocum of Peoria, Ill.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Robert honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.
He liked fishing, going to any gym anywhere and the many activities his sons were involved in. He was their biggest fan. He also loved choir music and singing.
Robert was a man of high integrity; and he valued the many relationships he formed through his career in sales in the Peoria area and his involvement in Cursillo and church and school activities.
