Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dan Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from noon until the hour of services at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Gordon Fox, Jim Bondurant, Bobby Williams, Jeremy Brooks, Jimmy Brooks and Brent Callicott.
She was born Dec. 3, 1934, in Dyer County, daughter of the late Leon and Vassie Mae (Moore) Horton. She was married to James Thomas Clemons April 14, 1960. He died Aug. 21, 2012.
She was a homemaker and had also worked in the dietetics department at the former Obion County General Hospital.
She was a member of Exchange Street Church of Christ and enjoyed making desserts for people.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Jimmy Brooks of Rives; her son, Floyd Clemons of Martin; her brother, Tom Horton of Union City; her grandson, Jeremy Brooks of Rives; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James “Pig” Horton and Charles Horton.
