Margaret Gray

Mrs. Margaret Gray, age 89, of South Fulton died Monday, July, 13, 2015, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
She was a member of Smith Street Church of Christ in South Fulton and had been an elementary school teacher for the Obion County School System for 47 years. She attended Freed-Hardeman University, David Lipscomb University and Murray State University, earning a BS degree in Elementary Education. She was also a member of the Obion County Retired Teachers Association and Woodman of the World.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Katie Gray of South Fulton; two grandchildren and their spouses, Tyler and Keri Gray of South Fulton and April and Ryan McDaniel of Lakeland; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Gray Sr.; and her parents, George and Lucille Jones Gardner.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Street Church of Christ in South Fulton, with burial to follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Smith Street Church of Christ from 4-8 p.m. today.
