Eric Whitby

Eric Wesley Whitby, 39, of Union City died July 8, 2015, at his home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dr. Cecil Sewell officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Denver Whitby, Cannon Whitby, Jim Douglas, David Durham, Terrell Holder, Hal Mosier and Julius Foster.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dana Goodman, Carol Ward, Larry Speed, Mark Ward, Kenneth Kemp and Paul Tinkle.
Memorials may be made to the Union City Booster Club or the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee.
He was born Nov. 29, 1975, in Obion County, son of Bobby and Jean Whitby of Union City.
He worked for Whitby’s Flower Shop and was a member of First Baptist Church in Union City.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Taylor Jean Whitby of Union City; a son, Tyler Latreyl Whitby of Union City; his grandfather, Charles Whitby of Union City; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sammie Whitby; and his grandparents, Dwite and Margie Watkins.
