Cora Jones

Cora Bell (Worrell) Jones, 90, of Union City died July 5, 2015, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.
Services were set for 3 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Hitesman officiating.
Burial was to follow in Stanley Cemetery.
Pallbearers were to be Johnathan Nolan, Richard Ritz, Larry Dowden, Mark Dowden, Michael Johnson and Ronnie Ritz.
She was born April 22, 1925, in Obion County, daughter of the late Doss Richard and Ludie (Palmer) Worrell. She married Arvil James Jones June 3, 1967. He died Oct. 28, 1998. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda Williams and Donna and Paul Nolan, all of Union City, and Ann and Larry Dowden of Martin; her son and daughter-in-law, James and Kathy Thorne of Ripley; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Ritz; two granddaughters, Sandra Dunn and Amy Williams; her sister, Elizabeth Jones; and two brothers, Hue “Blue” Worrell and John “Cutt” Worrell.
