Chris Bevis

James Christopher “Chris” Bevis, 31, of Martin died on Friday, June 26, 2015, at his residence.
Born Monday, Dec. 12, 1983, in Dyer County, Mr. Bevis was a self-employed truck driver.
Funeral services for Mr. Bevis were to be held at 2 p.m. today, June 29, 2015, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ricky Stover officiating. Interment was to follow in Hurricane Hills Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Ayden Christopher Bevis and Noah Thomas Bevis, both of Martin; one daughter, Caylie Rae Ann Ferguson of Clinton, Ky.; his parents, Pamela Fair Rainey of Troy and Christopher Lee Rainey of Hornbeak; three brothers, Mark Bevis and Richard Dale Bevis, both of Dyer, and Dustin Shane Rainey of Union City; four sisters, Tammy Bevis of Dyersburg, Shelby Bevis of Trenton, Ashley Bevis of Humboldt and Amber Rainey of Troy; and his grandfather, Marvin Fair of Obion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alexandrea Lawson Bevis; his father, Richard Thomas Bevis; and his grandmother, Mary Sue Fair.
Pallbearers were to be Andy Butler, Jason Ivarson, Jonathan Rogers, Dustin Culver, Dustin Rainey and Brian Butler.
