Ray Chamberlain

Carlton Ray Chamberlain, 78, of Tiptonville, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at his residence.
He was a retired millwright for Reelfoot Lumber Co. and an avid fisherman. Ray was a Christian and a man of God.
Services were set for today at 2 p.m. at Wynnburg Baptist Church, with Rev. Johnny Chessor officiating. Burial was to follow at Keefe Cemetery in Tiptonville.
Survivors include his son, Terry Chamberlain and wife, Denese, of Union City; two daughters, Darlene Simmons, and husband, Craig, of Union City, and Tammy Leland, and husband, Mickey, of Tiptonville; one brother, Jay Chamberlain of Qulin, Mo.; one sister, Jeanette Miller of Richland, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lamb Chamberlain; his parents, Callie and Febbie Kilpatrick Chamberlain; one son, Danny Ray Chamberlain; and three brothers, Rubert Chamberlain, Tommy Chamberlain and Kallie Chamberlain.
Pallbearers were to be his grandsons: Mike Simmons, Dakota Leland, Danny Chamberlain II, Eric Chamberlain, Dustin Riggs and Kwame Jenkins.
