Thora Bransford

Services were set for 11 a.m. Monday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with interment in Ebenezer Cemetery near Cayce, Ky. The Revs. David Sauer and Hugh Barksdale were to officiate.
 Active pallbearers were to be Todd Bransford, Parke Bransford, Benjamin Bransford, Jeremy Andrews, James Moore, Wendell McClellan and Barry Sharp. Honorary pallbearers were to be Tommy Jones, Dennis Jones, Jeremy Jones, John Phillip Mayfield, Ted Hopkins, Bobby Sublett and Lewis Atwill.
She was a member of the Rush Creek United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She was also a former member of the Fulton County Homemakers and had lived in this area since 1945.
 She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Kay Bransford of Union City and Gideon and Mary Bransford of Navarre, Fla.; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Valerie Irene and Jeremy Andrews of Murray, Ky., Lori Elizabeth and James Moore of Clarksville, Todd Elton and Jessica Bransford of New Albany, Ind., Parke Tyler Bransford of the U.S. Navy, Benjamin Thomas and Sandra Bransford of Broken Arrow, Okla., Jonathan David Bransford of Point Lookout, Mo., Isaac Gideon Bransford of Broken Arrow, Okla., Sarah Jordan Bransford of Green Forest, Ark., and Ariana Marie Bransford of Navarre, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren, Emma Irene Andrews and Brody Hutcheson Andrews, both of Murray, Lillian Grace Moore of Clarksville, Megan Zoe Bransford, Delaney Joy Bransford and Lorelai Lee Bransford, all of New Albany and Carson Thomas Bransford of Broken Arrow.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Leon Bransford, whom she had married Nov. 21, 1945, in Gladewater, Texas; her parents, Thomas Homer Gregory and Jessie Elizabeth (Baugh) Gregory; her son, James Thomas Bransford; and two sisters.
