Vera Bryson

Services were 3 p.m. Monday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Jessie Cavness and Paul Cagle officiating. Burial followed in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Bryson, Jamie Scheland Jr., Joey Readenour, Jerry Pollock, John Pollock and Sidney Pollock.
She was born Sept. 26, 1937, in Obion County, daughter of the late Samuel Lee and Jose Lee (Hardin) Davis. She married William Pinkland Bryson Oct. 28, 1961. He died June 5, 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of House of Prayer Church in Fulton.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Hazel Bryson of Troy; her granddaughter, Ava Bryson of Troy; and two step-grandchildren, Tomarra Dickson and Jamie Scheland Jr., both of Troy.
Mrs. Bryson was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Lee Bryson; two sisters, Lucille Pollock and Effie Mae Powell; and four brothers, John Davis, Ed Davis, Luke Davis and Ray Davis.
