White-Ranson Funeral Home  is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Aug. 17, 1953, in Leigh, Iowa, daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Kreimar.
She was a custodian at Union City High School and was a member of Union City Baptist Temple.
She is survived by her stepdaughter, Tekla Schmidt of Portland, Ore.; her sister-in-law, Brenda Bugg of Union City; and three brothers-in-law, Brent Schmidt of Coon Rapids, Minn., Barry Schmidt of Omaha, Neb., and Bradley Schmidt of Winterset, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Brian Schmidt.
