Jerrial Wayne McKenzie

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pentecostal Tabernacle of Water Valley, with burial to follow in the Camp Beauregard Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at the church and his body will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of services.
Memorials may be made to the Water Valley Fire Department in care of Rita Pirtle, P.O Box 93, Water Valley, KY 42085.
He was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle of Water Valley, was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was the fire chief of the Water Valley Fire Department for more than 20 years. He lived all of his life in this area.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Carnahan) McKenzie; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Barry Rice of Mayfield, Paula and Richard Bone of Fulton and Lynn and Troy Hawks of Water Valley; his sister, Ludella Webb of Water Valley; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Eva Lynn (Johnson) McKenzie; his granddaughter, Kaylee Jo French; and two brothers.
