Erdice Court
Services were set for today at 1 p.m. at First Christian Church of Benton, with Dr. Michael Gatton officiating. Interment was to follow the service in the Marshall County Memory Gardens in Benton.
Collier Funeral Home in Benton is in charge of arrangements.

Born Sunday, Dec. 28, 1937, in Union City, she was the daughter of the late Avery Bruce Cooper and the late Mayme (Easterwood) Cooper. After earning a bachelor of arts degree in library science from Murray State University and a master of arts degree in teaching English as a second language from the University of Kansas, she taught English for the Marshall County Board of Education at North Marshall High School and later was an instructor at Murray State University. She also worked for a time at the American Embassy in Moscow.
Surviving are her son, Kevin Court, and his wife, Amy, of Benton; her daughter, Kerry Thompson, and husband, Rick, of Appleton; and six grandchildren, Kiefer Court and Kian Court, both of Benton, and Cooper Thompson, Court Thompson, Avery Thompson and Adeline Thompson, all of Appleton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Kelly Court.
