Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Jerry Leggett and Ed Decker officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Her grandsons and her great-grandson will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Bible mission of Union City Baptist Temple.
She was born Jan. 30, 1927, in Union City, daughter of the late James Oscar and Gladys Violet (Wiggam) Grady. She married James Richard Covey Sept. 6, 1947. He died Dec. 8, 2000.
She was a homemaker and a member of Union City Baptist Temple and Troy Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Perry Golden and Deborah and Freeman Long Jr., all of Union City; her son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Paula Covey of Union City; 10 grandchildren, Tanya Srystad, Lisa Darnell, Jamey Ray Covey, Wesley Shepherd, Matt Covey, Angela Russom, Corey Siglow, Jonathan Enochs, Michael Enochs and T.J. Long; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, her sister, Merry Eve Sumner of Michigan; her brother, Jerry Grady of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Ann Siglow; her sister, Doly Decker; and her brother, Jim Grady.
