Janet Wilbanks

Services were 2 p.m. Sunday at McConnell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Dowdy officiating. Burial followed in McConnell Baptist church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cory Wilbanks, Clint Wilbanks, Joe Wade, Kevin Barns, Jason Hedge, Matt Grimm and Peter Ecos.
She was born Jan. 26, 1946, in Union City, daughter of the late Milburn Earl and Edwina (Hale) Harris. She was the wife of Gordon D. Wilbanks, who survives, and was a graduate of South Fulton High School and UT Martin. She had been a teacher at Lake Road Elementary School and was a member of McConnell Baptist Church.
She is also survived by two sons, Cory Wilbanks of Richeyville, Pa., and Clint Wilbanks of Martin; her brother, Danny Harris of Greenfield; and two grandchildren, Liam Wilbanks and Bentley McCartney.
