Betty Warner

Services were set for 2 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ray Newcomb and Justin Hiens officiating. Burial was to follow in New Haven Cemetery near Ridgely.
Pallbearers were to be Adam Squires, Brandon Bramlett, Benny McGuire, Gary Phillips, Johnny Kyle and Anthony Williams. Honorary pallbearers were to be Mark Willis and Steve Warner.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
She was born June 14, 1944, in Alcorn County, Miss., daughter of the late Goldman Elbert and Quilla Mae (Fulkes) James. She married Lendel Franklin Warner July 24, 1961. He died July 25, 2006. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Greg Kemp of Union City; her son and daughter-in-law, Steve Warner Sr. and Beth Warner of Union City; three grandchildren and the spouse of one, Steve Warner Jr. and Jackie Warner, Morgan Kemp and Ryan Warner, all of Union City; two sisters and her brother-in-law, Dorothy and Delton Hathcock of Bradford and Ola Watson of Dyersburg; and two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Ann and Benny McGuire and Lori and Gary Phillips, all of Hornbeak.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Elbert James; and two sisters, Shirley Hutchison and Brenda Morrow.
