Peggy Phillips

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was a member of Ruthville Baptist Church and had been a waitress for various restaurants. She had also worked for the former Henry I. Siegel in South Fulton as a seamstress. She had lived most of her life in the Chestnut Glade community.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Billy F. Phillips of Martin; her son and daughter-in-law, Billy Thomas Yvonne Phillips of Martin; her daughter Tamara Jean Nooney of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren and their spouses, Carrie Denise and Kenneth Knight and Jonathan Reed Phillips, all of Sidonia community, Heather Kathleen Nooney of Jacksonville and Shannon Reagan and Andy Rose of Orlando, Fla.; eight great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law, John Paul and Betty Harwood of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie (Holmes) and Johnie Franklin Harwood.
