Bro. John Harrison

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at Mack’s Grove Baptist Church near Dresden from 2-3 p.m. Visitation will be froma 1-2 p.m. at the church Wednesday.
Flowers or donations of Gideon Bibles can be delivered to the church at noon.
Bro. Harrison pastored at Mack’s Grove Baptist Church, First Baptist Church in Greenfield, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church No. 2 near Rives and other churches in Tennessee, Oklahoma and Michigan.
He began pastoring at the age of 18 and retired in 1997. He loved preaching the Word of God and witnessing to others.
He is survived by his three children, J.C. Harrison, Cynthia Whitson and Karen Donaldson; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother, Vincent; and his sister-in-law, Barbara.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Von; his parents, Charles and Edith; and his brother, Charles.
